Hope In The City III:"Wear Your Story" 9:17 PM

Born three years ago, a collection of artists, activists and passionate people who love fashion came together for their first show at FIDM's park in downtown LA. Now, on March 24th, 2010 they have brought us their latest installation in their story as they reach out to others through local service opportunities and global projects, to which all the proceeds benefited.

The theme of the night was "Wear Your Story." Designers were invited to take part in an experimental part of the show in which they were asked to make a garment out of newspaper that would express each of their personal stories. In addition, the designers showcased their current lines in a great kick-off to LA Fashion Week 2010.

Here is a quick layout from tonights amazing event. Host Jeannie Mai and Hank Fortener took guests on a journey highlight some of fashion icons as they participated in an experimental design process that resulted in a culmination of enveloped the theme of the night "Wear Your Story".
